The U.S. Postal Service is launching a new web site to help businesses and households understand its plan for five-day-a-week mail delivery. The Postal Service has officially asked the Postal Regulatory Commission for a ruling on the proposal to end Saturday mail delivery beginning next year. Stress in the workplace can mean a bigger waistline. A study of nearly 3,000 middle-aged white collar men showed that those with chronic stress from increased workloads and less control on the job were heavier than average. The U.S. Transportation Department has asked the National Academy of Sciences to look into the issue.
