Congress has called it a year, with members now heading home to begin campaigning for re-election in one of the toughest political seasons in a generation. Lawmakers left behind pending legislation involving tax cuts, child nutrition and the federal budget. The poster child for the government’s financial bailout of 2008 has a plan to pay back the American people. AIG says it will repay $46 billion by next spring. The Treasury Department pumped billions into AIG to keep it from collapsing and setting-off a domino effect across the American economy. Source Link

The biggest name in social networking makes the jump from the computer screen to the silver screen, but it’s founder may not be too happy about all the attention. The creation of Facebook is the subject of the new movie, “The Social Network” the hits theaters today. The film depicts Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg betraying his partners to take control of the fledgling service. Source Link
