Up to 100 million Americans could feel the impact of a major winter storm that’s making its move from the Rockies into the Midwest on its way to the East Coast. Researchers have shown government officials a prototype system for automobiles that could instantly detect whether someone has had too much to drink and prevent them from driving. The system can use touch sensors in a steering wheel or door locks or measure blood alcohol content from exhaled breath. A field demonstration of the system could begin later this year. Source Link
