When it comes to measuring America’s epidemic of obesity, the scales have levelled off for now. The Centers for Disease Control says the nation’s obesity rate didn’t increase in the latest annual figures, and that’s good news. Many people think of their dogs as their children, and now there’s some scientific evidence that the comparison isn’t that far off. Researchers say new studies show that dogs have the social functioning skills equal to that of a toddler. That includes the ability to pick up on visual cues and match them with words that are being spoken. Source Link

The introduction of a new iPhone has helped to push Apple near the top of sales for smart phones. New figures show that with the launch of the iPhone 4S, Apple nearly matched the sales of all Android phones in the last three months of 2011. Six out of ten new phones being sold are smart phones, and nearly half of all cell phones in use now are smart phones. Source Link
