It’ll be Hollywood’s biggest event of the year at the annual Academy Awards on Sunday, but a new survey shows there are fewer moviegoers heading to the multiplex to see those hit films. About six out of ten Americans say they rarely go out to see a movie, and over half of those who go to movie theaters say they’re doing it less often because of high prices for tickets and snacks. The prescription for better vision for kids could be as simple as “get outside and play.” Researchers say children can reduce the risk of nearsightedness the more that they play outdoors.
