Nearly all of the quarter-trillion dollars collected by states in tobacco settlements have gone up in smoke without much to show in anti-smoking efforts. A new report says only about 4% of the $244 billion was spent on tobacco control programs. In states that spent more than that, smoking rates went down. A study found that people ate fewer potato crisps when a red one was placed in the can between every 14 others. Researcher say some snack foods could have similar built-in portion controls to help prevent mindless overeating. Source Link
