Cooking shows are a great way to learn the kitchen craft, but following their lead could be dangerous in one way. A study found that 70 percent of programs didn’t show proper food safety guidelines like protection from contamination, temperature control and the proper use of knives and utensils. Researchers found that people who enjoyed one or two alcoholic drinks per day had a lower incidence of the type of stroke when blood flow is blocked to the brain.
