Science is showing how fathers may deal differently with sons and daughters. A study using brain scans and random recordings found that dads were more attentive to toddler girls and more accepting of their feelings than with sons. That fitness tracker on your wrist might be good at counting your steps but not the calories you burn. Researchers tested a wide range of models and found that most missed the real number of calories and some were off by up to 90 percent.
