Contrary to current advice, a new study claims that feeding babies
snacks made with peanuts before their first birthday appears to prevent
peanut allergies. Eating peanut snacks at least three times a week until
age 5 cut the chance of becoming allergic by more than 80-percent.
Children at high risk for allergies should be evaluated before starting

people. About 200 universities nationwide are granting class credit for
prior experience and a pilot program is allowing federal student aid to
