Health officials are warning that a summer heat wave can be deadly, especially for older people. The ability to regulate body temperature worsens as you age and chronic health conditions can make heat-related illness more likely. A survey found that 60 percent of healthcare workers and 50 percent of restaurant workers say they’ve gone to work when they were sick.
